The Ghost at Number One (Jellyfish cover) 12/06
This was my inaugural foray into digital recording and also ended up on the Jellyfish tribute album Sensory Lullabies. Of course, if I did it now, it would be sooo much better. Hindsight, etc. I'm still proud of it, though, and happy to know that Roger Manning loved the album so much.

You See Me Now 12/06
This song was written in 2005 and I thought it might make a good early Black Sugar Transmission track (along with the four songs that follow), to get the ball rolling in the next phase of my musical life. That's the great Jerry Gaskill, of King's X, on drums. He also played on "Dressed and Desperate", which you can hear on the first Black Sugar Transmission album.

Shimmy Shotgun 12/06
This was on old song that I'd decided would be a good song to do for my brand new project. That's Matt Farley on drums. I had no idea how to mix live drums and that's why this sounds so raw. But it's fun, innit?

Twilight Alright 12/06
Another older tune (from '05, I think), which Matt played the hell out of. These songs are my very first attempts to make music in a computer. All of Matt's and Jerry's drum tracks for these songs were recorded in one day in October of 2006 at Barbershop Studio, NJ.

Pete Sali and Me 12/06
You may have already heard the 4-track demo of this song from the 2004 page of this site. This is just me taking a whack at it in Cubase. Had fun with the guitar solo but never got the verse vocals sounding quite right. This ended up in Black Sugar Transmission's live set and is always a blast to play.
